Christmas comes to Canary Wharf
Our client, who we have worked for before, wanted to reward staff for their hard work by throwing a magical Christmas party. We were briefed to find a venue with capacity for 300 guests and within easy reach of the company’s offices. East Wintergarden in London’s Canary Wharf was perfect, a stylish venue in a great location and, for us, the excitement of transforming a blank canvas into a spectacular festive event.
The Solution
We created a Christmas theme that had a charming touch of nostalgia, from an archetypal Christmas tree and fireplace to a multitude of fairy lights to create a twinkling atmosphere. And using a stylish lighting scheme and simple decoration, we were able to combine fun and funky with tradition.
Guests were welcomed with glasses of Prosecco, followed by delicious bowl food that allowed everyone to mingle and chat. Our DJ got guests dancing throughout the evening and, for those who needed to rest their dancing feet, we created a chill-out area with comfortable sofas. A magic mirror photo booth added an extra level of entertainment, and the evening wouldn’t have been complete without a visit from Santa himself!
