CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF WEDDED BLISS
We thought it particularly romantic and charming that our clients wanted to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary by recreating their wedding day. Images of their wedding reception provided all the inspiration and visual reference we needed to make this a reality.
The Solution
We set up a marquee in the grounds of the family home in Merstham, Surrey and dressed the interior so that it looked as rustic and homely as a centuries-old barn. Below a twinkling starlit ceiling, simple wooden chairs and tables were given an air of sophistication with elegant white place settings and church candles. Rather than extravagant floral decorations, we continued the minimal but stylish rustic theme with wisteria and ivy draped above the tables.
100 guests enjoyed a drinks reception with cocktails and champagne, followed by a delicious and relaxed family-style feast with lots of sharing platters. After dinner, everyone danced into the night – glitterball decorations were a must! And exterior lighting meant that guests could enjoy the garden setting even in the dark.
