FAMILY GARDEN PARTY
A big family get-together for a double celebration (a 50th birthday and wedding earlier in the summer) was the perfect excuse to turn a garden into a festival field, complete with fun fair side stalls for fun and games. A lovely relaxed and rustic atmosphere was created in the garden; straw bales for seating, oak barrels for tables, rugs and cushions, colourful festival flags, lanterns and candles – the perfect chill out space.
The Solution
Starting in the late afternoon and lasting long into the night, we used plenty of intelligent lighting techniques to ensure the outdoor space looked exciting. As the sun went down, colour wash lights created a stunning backdrop, which could still be enjoyed from within a clear span marquee where the evening’s entertainment would take place.
Music naturally takes centre stage at a festival party and we provided a top DJ to keep the dance floor filled throughout the night. A band, made up of exceptionally talented musicians and singers, performed two live sets during the evening.
