FESTIVAL WEDDING PARTY
To celebrate their wedding, our clients asked us to create a party with a festival vibe. With a guest list of 150 – a mix of family, friends, work colleagues and children of all ages – we needed plenty of outdoor space. The couple live in north London and we found a venue with a large lawn in Watford that perfectly fit the bill.
The Solution
As guests arrived they each received a wristband and running order lanyard to get Wedstock 2019 underway. We created bespoke signage, including a site map, to convey the different party zones, and tipi tents, flags and bunting quickly established the festival theme. We arranged plenty of entertainment that took place throughout the day – from a funfair to a friendly sports day competition, bucking bronco and a great DJ. Festival-style catering included street food and a barbecue. There was also candyfloss, popcorn, slush puppies and a coffee bar – treats for all ages. We also arranged for an ice cream van – complete with music playing – to arrive halfway through the event, which created a charming memorable moment.
